COACHES
At 404, we consider coaching to be the most important part of your CrossFit experience. We require coaches to develop a personal relationship with each athlete to assist in reaching fitness goals. Our coaches understand limitations and will always help find solutions to scale workouts for each athlete.
CrossFit404 equips its coaches with new learning opportunities, certifications and team seminars to bond and collaborate, and brainstorm ideas for improving the gym's collective experience. Interested in coaching with us? Email info@crossfit404.com with your letter of interest.
COACH BIOS

Jackie Fisher, General Manager & Coach
Jackie was a lifelong dancer turned CrossFitter back in the Summer of 2013, and once she understood what it meant to breathe heavy with intensity, she never looked back. Jackie believes that we can fix a lot of life’s “stuff” through movement and breathwork. She has been coaching since February of 2019 and doesn’t see herself on any other career path.
During her free time, Jackie enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors, preferably with her husband and two dogs. Jackie is a major foodie and could spend her entire life on a mission to find the best sourdough bread, coffee, and scones that this world has to offer.
“I’ve only been a member of 404 since October of 2020, but they have very clearly demonstrated high moral standards, and they bring a sense of inclusivity to every single person who walks through their doors. I am thankful to have been given the opportunity to not only train beside some really strong athletes, but to lead them as their coach is a true privilege that is not to be taken for granted.”

Joshua Schumacher, Coach
Joshua Schumacher (Schu) is from Harvard, Illinois and claims an impressive ten years of experience as a CrossFitter. He’s a world traveler, a fan of the Green Bay Packers and can be found hanging at Ponce City Market, Krog Street Market or enjoying a meal on Buford Highway.
“I coach at CF404 because I want to help others succeed in their fitness goals while learning the movements correctly in a safe environment. CrossFit404 is my home.”

Amanda Fischer, Coach

Chris has been CrossFitting for five years and in his free time enjoys lazy weekends cooking at home with his girlfriend and their two dogs Zoey and Ruthie. Chris has a background in jiu-jitsu, kickboxing and wrestling.
“I became a coach because I had let myself get to the point of sickness with my poor diet and lack of exercise but through CrossFit I was able to not only heal myself but achieve a level of fitness I never thought was possible. I feel it is my responsibility to help those who want to help themselves.”

Amanda Henderson, Coach
Amanda was born and raised in Atlanta. She started CrossFitting over 8 years ago while trying to recover from a long-distance running injury and hasn't looked back.
She started coaching over 6 years ago and has coached in various states and even countries, including Japan. When she's not at the gym with her dog Harding, you'll find Amanda working, studying, or spending time with her husband

Jake Jeffcoat, Coach
Born and raised in Griffin, GA, Jake loves to hunt, fish and spend time with his wife. After his collegiate football career ended, Jake needed a competitive outlet for fitness - he found that in CrossFit.
"It’s been so much fun to get fit with y’all over the last three years. Coaching, alongside working out with each of you, is such a highlight in my world. Let’s go get better! "
